Jack Craver joined the crew of the USS West Virginia at Bremerton after the rebuild. He was assigned to the 2nd Division 2nd Turret. He was on the ship through the end of the war until it was mothballed. He went on to serve a total of 21 years and 3 months retiring a BMC.
