USS West Virginia Veteran

Carl Wayne Newton is a bit of a doppleganger.  This was a false identity that Joseph Variot used when he enlisted in the navy.  Interestingly, both names are listed in the October 1944 cruise book from the ship.  Read more about Joe Variot here.
