What a surprise! I was searching for info re: the US Navy Band Competition of Dec. 6,'41 and accidently came across your articles re:PH and your father, Howard. I went on double dates with him and my girlfriend, Marian. He was her date and I dated his friend, Lipman Singer. Your father was a real gentleman and no wonder you are proud of him. You probably have pictures of us taken at the PeeWee Golf course in Honolulu. If not, I can send you copies. I still don't know who won the band competiton of Dec.6,'41. Does anyone know?
