Sent a msg previously to curator regarding the current location and dishonorable abuse of the anchor that was once part of the USS West Virginia. He said he would look into the matter but I haven't heard anything more. The bell, the mast, and the anchor of the ship can be found in different locations of the WVU campus. The sorority girls of Delta Gamma at WVU use the anchor every year for rush week pranks and duct tape an unclothed frat boy (a pledge) to the anchor. Am I the only one who thinks this is an inappropriate use of such a revered symbol? I believe such a practice must be stopped. My e-mail is ruschenberg@hotmail.com
