Hello Mr. Pyne. Do you remember my dad, Wilbur A. Decker, USMC, who was from Nebraska and some called "Wib?" I have been putting as much together as I can find because I want my children to know him. He received an award for putting out a fire on the ship on 4/1/45 when the kamikazi hit the ship. He died in 1975. He was very proud of the West Virginia. My email address is ReinDeck@msn.com. Thanks.
