There was actually more than one ship with trapped crew members inside. One of the most notable ones was the USS Oklahoma. Stephen Bower Young wrote an excellent book, Trapped at Pearl Harbor, about his experience while aboard the capsized Oklahoma. It was completely rolled over and rescuers had to cut through the hull to get the sailors out. They found out early that they couldn't use torches to cut the men out.
